Default SA Dagger opinions and comments wanted

This is an authentic SA dagger brought back from the battlefield by my father who is a WWII vet. From what I have gathered thus far, Kober & Co. were not major manufacturers of SA daggers, so there is some rarity to it. Thanks to all responders.

A rather common maker, but desirable one.

Hi, Peter58. Welcome to the Forum !

Not a super rare SA dagger.
There were apparently many small 'cottage industry'
type companies which made daggers and parts.
    'Th' is for Gau Thuringen...........

It does look as though the grip has been laquered,
    and the scabbard repainted/refinished.
    Regards,

    Steve.

The crossguard has indeed been reversed at some point.

    Cheers, Ade.
