SA Dagger - opinions please

Hello everyone,

I think this dagger is a pretty good one. I found it at Kai Winkler.
Please give me some feedback.

Very nice...Kai Winkler is one of the more reputable dealers as well...

Hi Chris,

this dagger is by far not worth what Kai is asking ( 700,- euro)
In fact the only good about it is its grip, which is good looking.
The scabbard has no Original anodizing left and had a repaint.
The blade is very poor having no crossgrain left and lots of sanding is visible, it also has a lot of pitting towards the tip.
Ive watched all SA daggers at Kai's and none of them is very collectable.
Save your money for a good one, any of the Kai's SA's will have you loose money, as they will be hard to sell.
Better pay a bit more and buy a good one, that will be easily sold or traded against another piece you want to buy a new piece and sell this one in the future.

I'm not sure what you mean with "crossgrain". You mean "the black" in the "Alles für D..." ?
I can see that there's no left.

Cross grain are the lines on the blade like this one on the Torley SA
