I got this SA dagger at a knife and gun show in Concord, NH about 10 years ago, Im not sure if it is real all the other examples I have seen lead me to believe it is. I think I paid $375 USD. Any comments?

when you say early, is there any way of knowing what year? Im not interested in selling but for curiosity what is it worth?
1933-1934,
in the end of 1934 , RZM mark (RZM = Reichszeugmeisterei) replaced the maker mark

wow! exciting! this is the beginning of a wonderfull obsession! I have some other knives I will show off at a later date, I suspected this one is the best in the small (4 or 5 knives) collection I have. I hope it continues to grow from here! Is there anything I should do to preserve this knife? I was thinking about a coat of gun oil??? any suggestions or tips? Thanks a bunch for the responses so far.
Do nothing with it! It's best in my opinion to keep the sheath on it to protect it naturally. I don't believe in using any kind of oil's to try an preserve.
Please post other you may have military or not.

First off, welcome to the forum!
I can only repeat what you have already been told. You need to do nothing more to the dagger than a wipe over with a clean white cloth to remove any fingerprints etc.
Cheers, Ade.
looks GREAT! *****
