Interesting Find ..Vlad..and "WE ALL need to approach this very carefully. I have reservations of my own and will look into this further.

It is under the assumption that this producer did not make any SA daggers..one point being from Ralf Siegert...and another point being from the McSaar list author Mike McAlvanah..who gives credence to he possibility that they may exist.

Robert Klaas is a Known SS producer.

The logo on the reverse side of the blade has been applied cooked..but has decent signs of period etching...again..Im not sure of this as..Klaas is not an SA Producer.
The Motto on the front of the blade..is applied high above the center ridge.

The logo itself..is known as the "Kissing Crane logo" and there was a reason for naming it as such...as the Cranes beaks would be touching. In the photo supplied this is not the case. The logo used in Vlads dagger is a smaller type seen in a very few rare sightings of an SS Rohm..which Klaas used both sizes......again the beaks are not touching and does no hold up to the "Nickname given.

Another item of caution is the decimal point centered between the RZM and the permit number...which I have never seen before...and the only known RZM Klaas codes are listed below in photos along with the early "Kissing Crane logo" The absent Round RZM logo IMO would not conform to Transitional period logos. Keeping in mind that we are looking at SS dagger numbering...but should be consistent by the same producer to apply it the same on an SA dagger. The rest of the dagger is typical transitional SA.

I will research this further and report any more findings of the Producer. Regards Larry

Good news ... Further research has indicated that the SA high command during the early period when the SS was sub servant to the SA that Klass was only contracted to make SS daggers until later Klaas received a contract to produce SA daggers during the mid period which bear their trademark and RZM number ... And in some rare cases just the RZM mark. You have a rare find Vlad and thank you for your patience until I could researched it further . Hang on to that dagger as the transitional logo matches other documented Klaas logos of the mid period. Regards Larry

More study and research to follow

Well done Larry. It is nice to see someone not condemn an item just because they've never seen it. Congratulations Vlad on a rare find.

My Mentor had given me some great insight into this transitional maker..as now it is not as commonly seen as it once was. A common code number..but rare to find. Live and learn on my part..and thankful we have teachers above us..showing us the truth. Regards Larry

I am very grateful to you for your knowledge and your attention concerning this dagger.
I thank as all for your kind words.
What can be estimated price of this dagger?
I had earlier plans to sell it. After your remarkable research I doubt concerning sale. But circumstances are that that is probable to me it will be necessary to sell it in the future unfortunately.
