I do not know if it is rare Robbie, but one I have not seen before. Therefore at the least, uncommon.

Hi Robbie nice dagger it's reasonably common maker being a 5 on the mcsarr list (10 being rare), can we have a better pic of the blade it looks as if someone has dinged it a couple of times but must admit a far better one than the RZM one
    cheers Ronnie

P.S sorry Ralph if the comment above sounds a little derogarory it's really not meant to be, about not being that rare,

It's being held! I'll finally get my hands on one of these! Does anyone know roughly what date this dagger would be from?

    Thanks,

All parts fits, its a late war dagger, rzm with chrome plated parts, zinc alloy chromed crossguards and an alu eagle.
All as you would expect on a rzm dagger.
grip has a nice fit to the crossguards.
If you like salty this is one to buy, altho i think 200 is a better price for it.

Gerrit, you must be referring to that first SA, not the second one shown. The second one is most definitely nickel silver all the way and early, not late. Probably in the mid thirties in manufacture. Hope this clears that up.
