To the many collectors, I was checking out Gun Broker today and came across this SA Dagger. Now I am no expert on these. I thought though that it would make a interesting post. First time for me see this look. The dagger looks ok but does it command a $6,000 auction asking price?

G you missed that fantastic grip eagle

Once in awhile these special enhanced SA daggers come around..and is a personalization by the owner.
Yet also a local jeweler then and now can also perform the same tasks.
The Gruppe mark "Sw" is not a known designation for Eickhorn and would explain why there is such a bad blade shoulder fit to the guard.

$6000 IMO outrageous and the box who knows where that came from.
    be careful
The grip eagle and bad fit shoots it for me

Ger, so this dagger has been making the rounds. I personally would not buy any collectables off Gun Broker. The only plus for Gun Broker site is there is no Censorship of German collectables.....yet

For the same amount of money $12,000, you could buy 11 good ones..

    gerrit:

Any kind of 'proof' is for the seller to provide. Not the buyer or an uninvolved bystander to make.

Sounds like you may have an interest in the value of the item; I don't.
Not trying to be snippy with you merely noting MY opinion. No more, no less.
You are certainly welcome to yours.
