SA High Leaders dagger in wear
Here is an afforded view of an SA Highleader dagger being worn with the 3pc marching hanger configuration. Take notice to the scabbard fittings having the embossed oakleaves. Also noticeable is the hanger retainer loop just hanging away while the dagger suspends itself on a 45 degree angle.
The officer in the middle of the photo obviously is camera shy or doesnt want to be seen.

Great photo Larry. Question, is the hanger retainer loop the loop that would have wrapped around the handle of the dagger?

Yes Doug Correct,,here is a Wittmann photo that shows the retainer loop.

Ive just been overbid on an early 3 piece hanger on ebay , it was sold for 300 Us$
was willing to pay 275--
