Hey, I found this for sale - is it alright, or is it a fake/composite piece?
    Any information exceedingly well received!

    Kind regards,

Need much better/clearer/closer photos - especially of the SS roundel.
It appears to have some gouge marks.........?
    Regards,

    Steve.

I don't like the shape of the grip and eagle / roundal at all.

It has certainly been apart as the lower crossguard is on back to front.

    Certainly "restored".

    The maker is unknown.

    Cheers, Ade.

Damn! I thought I'd found a cheap one for £995. Never mind, thanks for the help (and for the tunic advice earlier)! Until next time!

Great, thanks - I've checked it out and I can see the difference.

Actually, whilst we're on the topic - would you mind looking at this dagger from the same shop? It looks okay to me but I have been (obviously) fooled before!

that one looks OK to me but I'd question the scabbard colour maybe. I'm still learning with edged stuff though.

Hi Robbie, basically real in parts.

But my concern is this is a later RZM quality dagger. But the scabbard fittings are earlier plated nickle type.

Dagger in scabbard the wrong way around in the last pic. People would be upset if I did not mention my pet hate

    Cheers, Ade.
