Some screen shots to assist.....
I'm going to start the discussion by saying the wood, eagle and button don't look like they started life together.
The dagger grip has been replaced and surely not original to the dagger...and the runes button was either incredibly turned upside down or it too was replaced. The grip eagle is a modern repro type with slash cut wings.
Now..I do have to give some credit to the Poster of this dagger as he did his home work nailing down the info on the SA gruppe mark and identifying the Producer as being rare.
His rocket fizzled out after that ignoring the issues with the grip.
This Gent has potential and after researching above ..the grip was not that far away to being compared to an original which surely he should have had some kind of access to a website or easier yet..... Google
I do give him credit more so than some fly by nighters that just either guess or condemn without factual support.
