Thanks for confirming AK47's earlier educated guess. Makes a lot more sense than it being a cover.

Value? $30-$50. Maybe. Not a rare case, by any means. The 105's been around a looooong time. As I mentioned in my original post, I feared I'd paid too much. The "paper" saved me. ...

I'm guessing a '50s era USAF Air Police hat. Took a little to find this pic, but it appears to be very similar to yours.
A picture and dimensions would help considerably in providing a positive ID.
It appears to replicate the BT series of tank that was produced 1932-1941. So darrenj40's guess is most likely correct with regards to timeframe. Neat badge, for sure.
And just noted the "gear"...
Here are some of the Japanese currency items in my collection. Sadly, I can't speak to specifics on any given piece of script. The majority were collected by my Dad and I have thankfully been given...
As for the find, WOW! Not sure who captioned the pics, apparently a "news" person. PIC #7 IDs "Japanese" grenades. They look alot like Millsbombs. They may have been acquired/captured by the...

Here's a shot(shot. get it?) of the gun from the movie. Looks like you're going to need to find some armor plate as well.

".....I have a tattoo on my bum cheek with '1967' and 'WW2 relic hunter and metal detectorist prototype. Patent pending.' on it.

HaHa to both the answer(which is wrong) and the comment(is that wrong???):shok_yikes:
Look at GI Joe's thumb. Found that out when I went looking for the Bofors gun.
Anybody know how Hasbro copyright protected GI Joe?
Hint: It was literally molded in.
Can't claim any past GI Joes. Not sure why I didn't have one. Tons of the little plastic Army men who met their fates with firecrackers and lighter fluid and .22s. As mentioned in my earlier...

Here's my GI Joe 40MM Bofors. Got it mostly for the gun.

Muchos gracias.
An opportunity to acquire this book has presented itself.
Two questions: Are the contents valid? I only have the cover pic and a brief description. Considering its bilingual approach, I'd like...

Uh, no.
I'll retract my vote(the Luftwaffe one) and move it to the "No Interest" category.
I've been to nearly 30 aviation museums over the years. Up to and including the USAF museum. Haven't made it to NASM, yet. Without question, this one is in a class by itself. The use of "live...
Very nice. How did they go about Dewat-ing it?
Get a bolt. And the other missing parts. Otherwise, it's just a parts gun, of very limited value, collector or monetary. A REAL one runs in the $350-$400 range in these parts. Might be worth...

I voted, and I've only got 1:shok_yikes: pin. A Luftwaffe Ground Combat (I think) repro pin. Was included in a trade box. Still in the bubble pack. Lower right.
