Over here they DO NOT deactivate them. They simply remove and blast them in a safe place. If it cannot be removed, they secure the area and blast it on the spot

I am posting here an example of 2 piece construction buckle with belt. These types of buckles were more expensive than standard one piece construction and were privately purchased. Hope you like it.
