This arbeitsbuch is from a woman I think, Gerda Kowalewski. Her "beruf" says "kontoristin" (clercke in English).

I know the feeling when you have the opportunity to buy something nice and you don't have the funds for it. But it wont be the last time you will find anything like that ;)
