    No, they are replacements. The ones that came with it were the brown plastic
    1911-A1 type, and these were very worn and scratched. I gave the newer
    ones a rub with linseed oil, which brings out...

    Colt Model 1911, in .455 Caliber for British service - rumored to be the RAF. Made in 1915.
