    Yes indeed, the buckle is probably a 155/40 type 2 and in cracking condition with most of the paint still on it, any chance of better pics?

    They are indeed reproduction buckles, go onto a re-enacment site and they sell them on their, trust me they are not genuine WW2 buckles

    You may see these buckles for sale advertised as German belt buckles, well yes in theory they are German but post war East German buckles, nothing to do with WW2 Germany so dont get caught out :D
