Infantry woolen soviet cap 1954

Here is my post war Infantry cap dated 1954. What do you think of the sweatband? German reparation?

Soviet made cap - in Moscow, JS. The maker's name escapes me at this time. Dom will know.

However, I think the visor is a fake aged reproduction wartime type (The distressed edges are the giveaway attribute). And, the sweatband may just be a replacement also.

Thank you Richie and Dom for your answers. i have never seen this type of leather sweatband. The color on the picture is faded. The wool is green and the band is made with a beautifull raspberry fabrik a bit different than the usual color of M35 infantry. I am not sure but under the star there is a mark of a round insignia.
