    Default Wehrmacht visors

    Hello everyone!

A local dealer offered me these Wehrmacht visors. I don't know much about caps, but they look like dodgy reproductions to me. The material looks low quality and new, which for me is a huge red flag. Here are some pictures for you to see. Unfortunately, I cannot upload more pictures because these are all he sent.

The first one looks like an engineer's visor, although I'm not sure.

Here is the other one. The eagle doesn't look real and the whole thing looks brand new and fake (although it's nicer than the other one)

I am aware of the fact that it is difficult to tell the authenticity of this kind of items solely from pictures, but I would really like to know your opinion. Should I forget about them?

Like always, any reply would be very appreciated.

    Best regards,

    MG.

Both are good. The first one is a wartime Erel.
The second is an unissued Sani--Herbst is a distributor, not the maker.
The eagle has probably been replaced.

Thank you very much for your response. To be honest I was not expecting anything good. This only shows I have many things to learn!

I would suggest joining as a paying member, it opens up some threads not available to nonpaying members.

It's only 25$ and is money well spent.

Given how much this forum has helped me, it is really something to consider.
