Waffen SS grouping
Hello!
Thanks for letting me in in the forum, this will be my first post. I am not a hardcore collector but every now and then I buy things. Recently I bought a SS grouping from an old collector in Denmark. He said it was real and I tested it with blacklight. The markings and stamps seem correct. What do the forum say?

Welcome to the forum. We will need some close up pictures of the insignia. FYI, the black light is no longer considered to be 100% reliable.

Better pics for sure. Looks to be an army cut tunic...from a distance the insignia application does not look period. Like to see close ups as Bob mentioned
The one sideways pic...looks like the outline of a removed army breast eagle, but can't be positive

okey, thats a shame, tought the blacklight test was solid... since when did the reproduction go over to autenthic cloth?
The schulterklappen and armelband appear to have been added, but that impression may just be down to the lighting. The k98 munition tasche look good, The EKi and Verwundabzeichen look fine. As always detailed pictures will assist. Thanks for sharing and welcome along to the forum.

Wow, kind of wish that this was completely authentic. I love groupings and an SS one at that would be unreal!
I agree. The stitching application is horrible. It looks like it was done by a child. Send it back and get a refund.by carlsson1982
