US Army Air Officer's Jacket

I just got this US Army Air forces jacket today; I got it for a very good price so didn't do much research into it before purchasing it. I'm not familiar with the patch on the left sleeve, but this appears to me to be an officer's dress jacket, possibly foreign made? There are no tags inside any of the pockets, and there's an "S" stamped near the collar inside the jacket. I'll be doing some research into the other patch, but I'm assuming it has to do with a unit or theater?

The Base Command Iceland must be a rare patch to find period, and ever rarer still on a uniform.

I agree that its an odd patch to see on a uniform (ithink this is a first for me), but the patch itself is not too hard to find. One of those $5-$10 patches on ebay
