The paint & decals are original. The blue inside is most likely post war painted.
It's worth about what you paid being there is no liner

But it is a real Nazi helmet? Not a reproduction?
-
It is what is called in collectors terms as an M34 Fire police helmet due to the fact these were produced in 1934.

The exterior is all correct TR period, the shell, exterior paint and decals are fine. The stamp on the apron is Edelstahl - "improved steel". Jim G.

Wow, i'm just happy that its real, and not a fake. Thanks everyone for helping me out.

Let's be a bit careful. As noted it is a Civic Fire/police helmet used during the period the National Socialist we're in power.

Sorry. Should have been more clear. Was just clarifying your terminology "a real NAZI helmet".
It is an original "civil" helmet used during the 3rd Reich period.
Hope this helps.
