Brazilian Navy Officer's Commerative Dagger

Hi, I'm new to this site, and from Dallas, Texas. I found this site while searching for information about a commemorative dagger I was given about 40 years ago. I don't remember who gave it to me, but have been curious about it ever since. An online search led me to this site, where I found out it was a Brazilian Navy Officer's dagger, and looks just like the pictures of one posted on this site. I wanted to post a few photos and a description of mine on that thread to find out more about it, if I can.
