SS Marked ammo

Hello all, I just thought I'd show my latest purchase - an SS bullet case! Been after one of these for a while, still can't believe they actually existed. Thoughts? Does anybody have any info regarding its usage, which units had them and where they were used? Cant seem to find much info online. I've noticed that nearly all headstamps are pre-ww2, does this mean that they were used up pre-war or have they been found all across europe?

They were made by Deutsche Waffen Munitions, Fabriken in Berlin. Produced for the SS 3 known 7.92mm Mauser types with headstamps DWM SS 1938 , DWM SS -TV 1938 and wooden headed drill rounds marked TV SS 1939. They have been found all over the place, I'v some from France, Russia. For what ever reason no more were specifically produced marked with SS runes after 1939. Little else is known.
