Original camo battle damaged helmet?

Hello, I’m new so please don’t be too harsh. I recently saw this helmet for sale and I’m highly considering buying it. The seller has listed as an original German ww2 helmet with a two tone camo applied. I feel like the camo was later painted on but I don’t know. Any experts in this field? All help is appreciated.

I noticed that you used 'ImageShack' before you edited your post. The forum is rather strict about the use of outside imaging to post pictures... and you are likely to get asked to upload direct from your computer files.
