Smile Unidentified Kriegsmarine dagger - Real, Fake or souvenir?

I am looking for some help identifying what I have. This was my fathers. He passed about 30 years ago and this has just been sitting in the back of a closet all that time. He brought it home from Europe at the end of the war. I am trying to identify the manufacturer but there is not much of a stamp and not one I have been able to match to any company. Just from reading your forum, I am guessing this may be one of those daggers produced at the end of the war to be sold as a GI souvenir but parts of it look too good (but what do i know) to be that so I am confused as to what it is.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Regards,
