Canteens + Mess tins

Maybe too broad a questsion one thread, but what are considered fair prices for (WWI) German canteens and mess tins in todays market? Granted, condition and completeness comes into play.

Unfortunately, my local antique stores are a dearth of anything militaria related.

Worldwarsupply has fairly rusty "Imperial" canteens between $30-40 bucks. No caps or covers.

IMA has had some complete-ish WWI mess tins for between $100-200 in my memory.


I'm looking to complete a mannequin display - later maybe some damaged/subpar examples under glass. Repros are not off the table, but usually seem to cost 1/2 to 1/3 the price of an original.
