    Exclamation German Panzer Grenadier Soldbuch

I am strongly considering purchasing this soldbuch.

Are there any problems with this one?

He was award the panzerkampfazbeichen in bronze, winter war medal, EKII, and the wound badge in silver.

I circled any parts in question.

    I have a few questions:

    1. According to the wounds record he was shot twice, correct?
    2. Why is the entry for the EKII and Wound badge silver on page 22 instead of page 21????? (I circled this part in the photos)
    3. The photo that comes with it is supposedly the man from the soldbuch, I think it might be because he has the same awards, rank, etc.

The first wound entry said that he was shot in his left arm and it was amputated.

Can you guys tell me anything else out of the ordinary from the pictures.

    Thanks,
    Swayne

Nice Original Pass, Would agree that THE photo belongs with the Pass. You can almost make out faint folds/Marks which tells me these have been together for a long while, I also think the seller is a good Guy

Nice Soldbuch , also he served in Pz Gren Regt 66 at the same time as the famous Infantry Swords to the Ritterkreuz winner Major Waldermar von gaza gen Von Gazen , he won the RK,EL and Schwerten between September 1942 and October 1943.

    Von Gazen is still alive.

Pz Gren Regt 66 was part of 13 Panzer Divison.

To be honest Justin, I thought the exact same thing!!!! It has always looked to me like that might be it. Also, it would make sense that he would try to cover it up (turn the other way)

    Any other ideas?

The translation I found out from his wound is: Explosivegeschuß (Explosivegeschoß?) li. unteram (amp.) = Explosive shot/bullet left underarm (amputated).

So, from the picture I see his left arm--it looks a little awkward sitting. Does it look like that to you guys?
