Looks like a homemade soldbuch -document holder. Anyone have any idea what the big piece of paper is and the little one ?
The smaller form is a certificate of discharge from the military. Laminger had served from 6 May 1944 to 3 May 1945, on which date he was discharged. His destination was Langenlois; his personnel documents were sent to the military registration office at Krems.

The larger form is internal paperwork from his military unit. It lists his basic personal information and data on when he was transferred to and from the unit including his former and next duty assignment etc.

Yes, he was an Austrian conscript.

He had draft board exams on 6 Dec. 1938 and 13 July 1943, was taken into the secondary reserve and finally called up for service on 6 May 1944.

After training with the Landesschützen-Ersatzbataillon 17 / Landesschützen-Ausbildungsbataillon 17, he served with the 4th Company of Landesschützen-Bataillon 818. He was promoted to Gefreiter on 1 Jan. 1945. Ending his war while serving in the homeland area, he was eventually demobbed on 3 May 1945.

There are no unusual entries in these papers.
