In this thread I want to present a German Kennkarte. It was the ID card during the 3rd Reich era.
Size: ca. 15 x 10,2 cm (5,9 x 3,94 inch) / format DIN A6
period: 1938 to 1951 (later the Kennkarte was replaced by the Personalausweis)
colour: light grey with black letters
material: flax paper
service fee: 3 Reichsmark
Jews had to take the Kennkarte always with them.

5) given names (the first name is underlined)

9) unchangeable characteristics (examples: scars, implants)
10) changeable characteristics (examples: glasses)
11) comments (here you often can find stamps with the service fee)

13) stamps, which avert to change the photo and fake the ID card
14) signature of bearer
15) date and location of issue
16) authority
17) signature of the officer
18) authority stemp
19) fingerprint (right forefinger)
20) fingerprint (left forefinger)
21) Kennkarten of Jews had a big "J" in the middle of the left side
