Article about: Got this Soldbuch from a guy awhile back and was surprised to see he was with ll/NJG5, So is this really what it means? And what is a Flieger Horst Kompanie?

    'Fliegerhorst Kompanie' refers to an Airbase Company, so presumably he was stationed at an airfield as part of the ground personnel. I have read a few Wehrpasses, but never a Soldbuch. Sorry I can't be of more help.

    Just to confirm what has already been said - he was ground crew, firstly as part of an airbase and then with NJG-5.

    Thank you, he was issued a pistol, and spent time in a hospital. interesting.
