Nice photo on first page but no signature or stamp upper right?

A very nice item but…..not sure, it feels too perfect. Also most soldiers have promotion from 1941 too 44?

Err... No, Nick, he was from Berlin.

(He merely spent part of his service with the staff company of the RFSS' commissioner for Croatia.)

    Indeed he did.

He joined up in September 1941.

He drew frontline pay from 11th to 25th March 1942.

From 18th March 1942 to 20th Sept. 1942, he was in a succession of military hospitals. This was followed by medical leave from 25th Sept. 1942 to 6th Nov. 1942 and again from 23rd Dec. 1942 to 7th January 1943.

From 25th February 1943 to 25th March 1943 he was on special leave.

On 3rd February 1944, he was discharged; diagnosed of suffering from a heart condition and the aftereffects of the pleuritis that had landed him in hospital in the first place.

Interesting that the soldier in question was discharged at this time and not allowed to continue in a non combat role (unlike so many others) but, no matter, it is a really nice document.
