SS Soldbuch of a Lithuanian Volunteer (Late War)

Hello all,

I would like your opinions on the authenticity of this piece of mine, which appears to have been issued to a Lithuanian volunteer (one Vytautas Akulauskas) of the Waffen-SS in March of 1945. It looks in pretty good condition, no tears or missing pages that I can see. The man's photo is a little blurry and the admin stamps over the photo are all but faded away, but still barely discernible. The last entry/stamp in the book is from April 30th 1945.

So, is it good? The only thing that niggles me is that the SS runes on the cover are different from other SS Soldbuch I've seen in my limited research; they're of the vertical type, and quite narrow.

I think you answered your own concerns. I don't like it. The runes on the cover are not as originals and the same as known repro soldbucher. There is nothing about it that makes me think it is pre 1945.

It's a Polizei Soldbuch, not Waffen-SS. That said, it is one I would be careful with.
