    Adrian,
    That table is incorrect.
    SS-Brig. = Generalmajor.
    SS-Gruf. = Generalleutnant.
    SS-O'Gruf. = General.
    SS-Oberst-Gruf. = Generaloberst.
    RFSS = Generalfeldmarschall equivalent.

    Thanks! I must admit I only scanned down it, basically looking for Brit/US ranks equivilents. I never even looked at the others.

    I have been thinking of "values" for these. I think if you charged $50/£30 each they would fly off the sales forum. Of course, I don't know what you paid for them. But that sounds like a fair "collector to collector" value.

    Cheers, Ade.

    Thanks Ade! We're kind of on the same page. I actually listed them last night on the sales forum for $60 each. I also put that if someone wanted more than one to email me and maybe we can work out a deal! Thanks again for all your help and thanks to all the others who commented and help guide me in the right direction with these. Without your guys' help these documents would still be on the shelf gathering dust!

    Oh, is it listed now? I will have to check it. I wrote it and submitted it yesterday afternoon and it said it could take a day to actually be listed because it had to be approved, or something like that! I also listed the m1910 Prussian Medical officers tunic/hat that I have. Guess now I will have to wait and see if I get any bites!! Take care.

    Adrian and excalibr,
    Here is the correct ranking table (posted on another forum) for the SS, Wehrmacht and American/British:

    1) SS-Standartenführer; Oberst; Colonel;
    2) SS-Oberführer; No equivalent; No equivalent;
    3) No equivalent; No equivalent; Brigadier General (Brigadier
    British Army);
    4) SS-Brigadeführer; Generalmajor; Major General;
    5) SS-Gruppenführer; Generalleutnant; Lieutenant General;
    6) SS-Obergruppenführer; General; General;
    7) SS-Oberst-Gruppenführer; Generaloberst; No equivalent;
    8) No equivalent; Generalfeldmarschall; General of the Army (Field
    Marshal British Army);
    9) Reichsführer-SS; No equivalent; No equivalent;

    The rank of Reichsführer-SS was a political appointment, not a military one, but it was accorded the same status and privileges as Generalfeldmarschall. There was also the most senior German military rank of Reichsmarschall, uniquely created by Hitler for Hermann Göring.
