Wehrmacht/Waffen SS Soldbuch... Horst Wessel

Hi

In my collection i have this Soldbuch from a Lituanian volunteer.
I allso have approx 30 other documents from this man.
His name is Eduard Butkewitsch and he lived in a place named Mariampol....
He was born the the 6 of june 1905....
He wanted to serve in the Marine or the Artellery..
He started his service the 28 of april 1942 in "Landeschützen Batl. 6, 3 kompanie"
At the 26 of june 1944 he started his service at " SS-PZ-Gren-Ers-Btl 18"
But already at the 27 of june 1944 he started at " 18 SS-Pz.Gren-Div "Horst Wessel"....

My information ends when he started at Horst Wessel...



I have tried Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge, But i could not find him
Maybe he survived the war ???

When he served at Ldsch.Ers.Batl.6 Marsch-Komp (Feldpostnummer 25131 D) he had his adress here:
Düsseldorf- Heiligenhaus, Hauptstrasse 128 b.
He was married with Ottilie Butkewitsch, born Semmler.....

What means the word "Vomi" ???
In one of the papers it is written: Lager der Vomi... Warta Krs. Schieratz/Warth.
Anyone who know where this Lager was ???

Eduards wife lived for a while at this adress:
Zdunska Wola / Warthegau, Umsiedlungslager 3
Anyone who knows where this lager was ???

Maybe its the same place ???
