While the Wehrpass itself is nothing special, what might be of interest is that he won the EK II while fighting against the Allied troops at The Battle Of The Somme, as I believe Minenwerfer-Kompanie 23 was part of 23.Division, a division of the Saxon and then Imperial German Army.

Thanks folks, i will get my head into it soon and see what i can find out,, ww1 vet, to come from that and go into another the guy had some balls id say.
