Re: Wehrpass - Luftwaffe translation and how to valuate?
A original in average condition. 200-250 USD.
Esko before you post it is wise to search the forum or just the internet, i found a price for you in around 3 minutes. So look first and ask questions later.
All in all nice item.

Morris, i like how dedicated you are following all my replies or threads. As i am really new here and with war relics, i really don't know much about these items. I found yesterday so many different prizes just because wehrpass - soldbuch conditions, ordens, photos, signatures, promotions. And some info is unreadable for me, no offence - it really is! I did found promotion layers - but i didnt found 2 of them from any layer, i didnt found ordens list..
IMO - i'm new and for me there is no wrong questions, right?

200-250 USD is a lot of money I think. It's a common document.

Re: Wehrpass - Luftwaffe translation and how to valuate?
Quite an interesting book to a Soldier who served with Luftwaffe FLAK units , certainly the 1 Batterie of FLAK Regiment 51 , the book goes right up to his capture and POW time in Lager B4/68 !!
He was promoted to Unteroffizier in 1942 !!

They are common but the price has slowly increased so they are around the $200 mark now.

Re: Wehrpass - Luftwaffe translation and how to valuate?
Here is a history of FLAK Regt 51 showing they serves in Poland , France and Russia as part of 18th Armee , Armee Gruppe Nord !!
Lexikon der Wehrmacht - Artillerie-Verbnde der Luftwaffe
I agree with Lebus $200 -250 is too high a prcie for a book such as this , maybe around 100 euros would be a better price for a Luftwaffe book in this condition.
cheers
Paul

Re: Wehrpass - Luftwaffe translation and how to valuate?
The pricing for this item all rests on the last entry on Page 17 - Lei.Flak-Abteilung 1001 (ETr.) - and his previous unit. 2./Lei.Flak-Abt 1001 was formed from 6./Flak-Rgt 155 and Flak-Rgt 155 was responsible for the launching of the V-1. Can you show Page 4 please to see what unit he served in before 2./Lei.Flak-Abt 1001 or it may well be that his previous unit is the one blacked out on Page 17. What - if any - role Lei.Flak.Abt 1001 had in the V weapons I have no idea - it might be that they had none and Flak-Rgt 155 was just used to form them but if he was involved in the V Weapons then it turns an 80 Euros Soldbuch (nice as it is he doesn't seem to of won any awards which is strange for a soldier who served from 1939 - is there a page not shown that shows what he won?) into a 300+ Euros one - although prices are always subjective.
