Trench Art Customized 'Razvedchik 'Knife

Thought i would add images of a unique little piece i brought back some years ago . The standard Red Army Scout knife in wood scabbard with bone handle and handmade aluminium crossguard.
It has i think the feel of a wartime customized piece, although maybe it was done after the war ?

That is a very nice item Rob, & one that would be very easy to hand-make at the 'front.'

Of course you would never be able to find out exactly when it was done.
