early rzm ss cross strap

just encountered a well-worn cross strap quite similar to this one below with the steel fitments - leather has ss rzm and number code in a style resembling the sometimes (ok rarely) seen on 'tesch berlin'-made ss helm chinstraps. but I'm pretty sure the adjustment slider and clips are unmarked; or maybe just a light strike.

anyhow, should a shoulder strap with marked leather and unmarked fittings make one suspicious? it all looks quite ancient, 100% and unmessed-with....

I should add the strap lacks the 'ss-vt,' 'ss-tv' or other marks of the tesch chinstrap or other ss leather goods.
