    Came across this buckle, did not see it in person, but I also cannot find it anywhere on the web.



    If any one knows anything about this buckle (the top on in the scan), please tell me what is it?

    It looks like a waffen-SS buckle, but the eagle is different, and swastika is turned.

    David, it is a prototype SS EM buckle, very rare indeed if original

    I saw the back of the buckle - plain flat aluminum, no maker marks. The eagle (actually, the whole emblem) is a separate piece from the buckle and is attached to the buckle via 1 center rivet.

    My guess - not good...

    The pictured buckle is a fake. The originals are one piece aluminum.
