Nickel plated steel SS-Buckle

here´s an interesting buckle I bought in Reichertshofen, Bavaria! Nickel plated steel SS-Buckle, unmarked! Hope you like it...!

yes, I think an unmarked Overhoff with different catch! What do you think about the nickel!?
Does anybody seen this before or have a similar buckle?!

Max, do you think it could have been nickel plated by its former owner? maybe for parades perhaps? Does not look like it has been used in combat!

Yes Ben, I think it´s especially made for "private" use! IMO no combat buckle!
@Andrew: Nice buckle, but no nickel plated steel! Maybe someone has a similar buckle...!
