Doesn't look good. That prongs looks like more like one from a nickel buckle.

But don't confuse "cast" with injection moulded.

Yes, absolutely: casting process was NEVER used for german buckles, on the contrary injection moulded buckles yes. Expecially for zink buckles.

I have doubts about the alu buckle above: I agree with others that it looks a cast alu buckle. Anyway better picts will let us judging it better.
