i am going to pass on the buckle. I think the belt is a good one but i need to research the marking. The belt is tiny, it is marked 80.

early ss VA belt can't have steel hook. this belt is now for sale in one military shop. and it has steel hook. markings are fake on post 1940 wh belt.

A shame about the de- and renazification. It'd be a nice buckle otherwise.

I can't remember if the hook was steel or aluminum. Do you mean this belt is bad or they are now using a fake stamp like this?
