SS Belt Buckle

Hello,

I acquired this at a local antique store. They had two buckles, this one and a Heer buckle. I have a Heer and Luftwaffe buckle in my collection as representative examples but they are not my specialty. Both looked good to me but being in an antique store, coupled with my lack of knowledge, I took a shot at one and did some research. There is a fine collection of SS buckles pinned here of both original and copies. In looking at Ben Evans comparison threads it seems, to me, to resemble a late war Overhoff.

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately I don't see any makers marks or RZM stamps.

You are right, the buckle is a original unmarked Overhoff steel buckle
