SS belt buckle original?

Hello! I just bought this SS belt buckle and I wonder if it´s an original.
The markings on the backside looks original I guess. And the details on the front looks good too. The back is in a pretty bad shape. Peaces of the ring on the backside has eroded away. The seller told me that this was some kind of budget resolution.

I think you will find the buckle is fake. The whole thing lacks the production quaility of an original.

Hello Mike,

I am still learning but those were my thoughts as well. The detail is not sharp enough and as John said the crimping to the back on the outter edges are sloppy. This fabricated fake is to give an impression of a seasoned buckle.

Just to confirm what the rest have said, the buckle is indeed a fake
