SS buckle original?

This buckle is offered for sale, but I still don't know for sure about his authenticity. The construction seems ok but still...
And if it's a good one what maker is that? (ss 36/39) thanks

Wow, very hard from the pictures, if that is a moulded repro you would have no chance of telling wether it is original or fake, if he will not give you no more pictures let it go, hard to say from them pics, sorry

Just another after thought, if it is original why not give good pictures to help the buckle sell, in my opinion he masks a bad buckle with bad pics!

Yuppers.....the bad pics do not help. If you don't get better pics - then pass. Ben is right - the moulded repros are close and good pics are needed. Not pics like these.

If I am not 100% on a buckle I will not buy, SS buckles are not my speciality, I actually study Heer buckles and all their different makers but I know a wee bit on SS

As I said before, it is easyer to make a perfect repro, then making one with a fault.
