I checked out some threads on WFA that doesn't give me a good feeling about the buckle.

By the date stamp on the photo it is a eight year old photo. If you search SS officers buckle 35/36. On WFA you will find a buckle that JP says is a recent fake. I hope the buckle is original and if you have had it for at least 8 years it has a better chance.
