SS Officers buckle: Fake or Real

    Hello mate and welcome to the forum, yes indeed, must agree with Ivan, nice Emil Juttner buckle and in good condition, here is another example that is not so good

    Got a bit more time so here are pics for comparison, take note of the crimp, the eagles head (shape), the catch and the depression on the rear where the makers mark is, there are both marked and unmarked Juttner buckles

    Can you have a look at the rear of your buckle, is this a faint maker mark? Could it be that both the rings are light strikes at attempts to mark the buckle?

    Hello,

    a nice zinc Emil Jütner buckle .

    Typical of any is the failed marking ......

    Look you see the cirkle in the middle and therefor it is light dented .

    Very nice buckle. Most of these I have seem to have broken parts.
