Even ground dug, looks good to me....
I'm sorry for the wrong answer post .
What to sign GES. GESCH or RZM I have signed with skull Deschler.
Sorry for my spelling
Hello torpeda3945
You have NOT given a wrong answer to the post. We are all together as collectors and we learn from each other.
Ges. Gesch. is German for Gesetzlich Geschützt. Gesetzlich translates from German to English as legal, legitimate or by law. Geschützt translates from German to English as protected or sheltered. Ergo, the translation means - legally protected.
What do you mean by RZM I? Perhaps RZM 1? Deschler was afforded M1/52 - Deschler und Sohn, München.
Keep us updated please.
Regards,
David
Im glad this is a good one! not bad shape considering its a relic, too.
Personally ive seen RZM appear with GES. GESH. or Ges. Geschutzt on transitional items, like blades.
It is better to show photo
Dear torpeda3945
It would be much better if you post this skull to to the SS Uniform and Insignia forum (SS Metal Cap Insignia sub forum) and toward which I notice that you are already aware of.
Regards and best wishes,
David
It shows the signature and not the skull
