Nice picture Wim and nice to see one actually being worn. The only original ones I have seen are the pictures that Marc V posted on the WAF, other than that just the normal fakes that are around. There are a couple of posts ref them on the forum

I know and also what is written at another forum. I saw this type of buckle
for the first time in about 1977/1978 or so, when I visited an English collector,
working for the EU, living at Brussels.
When I have visited Marc many, many years ago I have seen the buckle he
owned and held it (I cannot remember if he had more of them then).

It's always great when seeing an item "in life" for the first time. And so I was
enormously pleased when I did get some photographs where such buckle
actually was worn a few years later. I never would have thought to get such
great photo!

Thanks for posting the link. This is a buckle that I have always wanted to add to my collection forever. I don't remember ever seeing one for sale. I think Marc got 4 of them in a vet buy.
