Unmarked SS buckles in nickle silver
I know that these two SS buckles are not in the best of condition, however they may be potentially interesting to the many who collect and research SS buckles.
Perhaps someone may like to comment ? Any comments whatsoever (good or bad) would be greatly appreciated.

David

Re: Unmarked SS buckles in nickle silver
Two interesting buckles David, is the catch on the first one original to the buckle?

Ben
I am slightly hesitant to respond, however he goes. The over wide catch appears quite original to the buckle, insofar as there are no signs whatsoever and even under magnification, of once a traditional size catch ever having been set on where we normally anticipate it to have been.

David,
I have never seen these before thanks for showing. I don't see anything wrong with them.

Re: Unmarked SS buckles in nickle silver
Could the first one maybe a Paul Maybauer made buckle? Second possible Steinhaur & Luck? (unmarked)
