The rotten dealer, whatever could be his name (Stahl, Royster or Penélope) is smart, but not "that smart". With his own replies we all saw he already provided at least two obvious mistakes showing to any reader he is a pathological liar. Please DO NOT point any of his mistakes since he will correct them. Always keep in mind he is reading what is posted here and in the WAF and reacts at the speed of a cobra...So let him dig his own grave on his crappy website.
In the future, due to new collector entitlement attitude and the passing of the old guard, the fakes become real and the real will become fakes. That is why the business of this forum is so important to have a written legacy of what is what.

This is because you know they are not but the ones you have are indeed fake and I will go to a bit of trouble to prove it.
Nice illustrations will be supplied to add zest to the dialogs.

Got a mail about the subject from my friend Roger Bender.
I am considering to let you know about his thoughts and

It shows that unfortunately there was absolutely no change to expect. Between May 19, 2016 and today his position remained totally unchanged. If I had hope to begin with, I am now convinced Thayer will NOT do anything to change his article. This is an extract of his own reply to my mail send to him May 13. This reply was on May 15:
" While I may not fully understand what you are arguing, I am always open to proofs not available to me when the article was written. I have taken the liberty of copying this message to Roger Bender as well so that he will be aware of your opinions. If you have information to add (or to refute), the MA will certainly consider your submission. "
Then, on May 1, this is an extract of what he send me:

1. What is the time period when these "fake" RODO buckles were first manufactured?
2. What is the name and address of the Hungarian metal-working firm making these buckles?
3. Who is distributing these buckles and where can one purchase an example for comparison?

Of course each correspondence has been CC to Royster who, in turn, is using ANY input to turn it to his advantage. This is obvious if one pays attention in his various replies to comments.
So, once again, do not believe to receive ANY help from Thayer either. In my opinion, only the net could minimize the impact of such misinformation since our voices are free when those people are commercially oriented. Not everybody is stupid or blind.
I stick to my opinion:
it is Thayer who should take action, as he was responsible for the article. Not Bender!!
I will not note what Bender precisely said in his mail. For what reason should I. For me
the subject is closed. There is for me no further need to take part with this discussion.
Future will tell us what will happen.............
