The fitting is called a " center ramp " which fits onto the center of the scabbard secured by 1 or 2 screws.

Those ramps seen with 1 screw are denoted as Initial production Daggers ( Type II )
Those ramps seen with 2 screws are denoted as Mid to late period production..and in some rare cases the later production ramps ( Type I ) chains can be seen with either 1 or screws.

Your center ramp presently is the only lead ...these almost impossible to find by themselves. If you do find one..2 things can happen

    1. It may not be forsale for long as someone else grabbed it up very quickly
    2. A Center ramp that has been forsale for a long time and not bought?.... Most likely is the obvious reason why it wasnt bought.

Hard to say Urq..by the time you actually find a center ramp you could of purchased a Type I ( late production ) for a reasonable price.
